Nicely written Prince. The first ground report was really nice. Instablogs just keeps getting better and better every day!
A commendable effort indeed. Backed by sound thinking, the video turned out to be really good. However, I am not very happy about the sound quality, especially when the anchor speaks. Apparently, there is some problem with the sound recording, as the sound appears to be coming from afar. May be we should use more effective microphones in the studio. The sound in the news clips was perfectly fine though.

Putting together a capsule of World News, reported by Citizen Journalists for Ground Report is no mean task.
The logistics are simply mind-boggling but a dedicated team here at Instablogs has just done that.
There may be some technological glitches, it may appear amateurish, there is scope for improvements in sound quality and a host of other issues but the beauty is that CJs on Ground Report daily confront and challenge other media outlets, raising the bar.
The net is crowded with many breaking stories.
Joining the stream, the Ground Report presents another view of unfolding stories around the globe.
The effort also gives direction to where New Media is moving into.
